After over 25 years of service in law enforcement, Undersheriff Dan McJunkin is retiring today.

Dan has devoted a great amount of his off-duty time ensuring all of the behind the scenes operational duties are functioning smoothly. Aside from patrol and administration duties, Dan has maintained all of the sheriff's employees time cards, prisoner transports, court transports and attorney discovery requests to name a few. Dan previously has worked as a deputy, K9 handler, and Lieutenant before being promoted to Undersheriff several years ago under Sheriff Rieger.

Dan will be greatly missed by our department and we wish you the very best in your new endeavors. We can not thank you enough!!!
