Hey Carbon County, we are now in Stage 1 Fire Restrictions!

What does this mean?

Land-clearing fires, debris-burning fires and similar “open” fires are prohibited. Recreational campfires less than 48” in diameter are permitted when bordered by non-flammable material such as steel, rock or cinder block. Smoking is also prohibited in areas where there is flammable materials like grass immediately near you.

These restrictions apply to all private lands within Carbon County excluding incorporated cities and towns. Please check with the State, BLM and Forest Service or your local city/town government in Carbon County for similar fire restrictions.
